Transitions

Today it hit me! We are going to the Scholar Ship (www.thescholarship.com)!

However, before I'm ready to leave the country, I have a million things to do... Vaccinations, medical testing, packing, moving, preparing guidelines and materials for my successor, loading my new computer with important files, getting my green card documents sorted out, getting a visa to China, among just regular things like sleeping and breathing... I haven't done those latter things for a while...

And today is my last day at the Intercultural Communication Institute (www.intercultural.org). What a bittersweet day! It is very quiet day, which makes it easier for me to process closure at so many levels.

So here is what's going to happen next. I'm flying to Finland on Wednesday, August 8 and Greg is going to follow me a week later. Oh, and Greg's birthday will be August 27! We'll celebrate that in Finland! With lots of Finnish cake!!!

And on our wedding anniversary, August 28, 2007 adventure starts from Greece. Here is the map of the first voyage.
